I attended my first yoga class with Rachel and it was exactly what I needed to unwind and reconnect with myself.
From the moment I entered to space, Rachel was welcoming,  the atmosphere, lighting and soft background music set a very peaceful tone.
 Rachel guided us through each pose with clarity and warmth, emphasizing breath awareness and gentle movement rather than perfection.
The pacing was slow  and intentional, allowing time to truly settle into each posture. I especially appreciated the short mindfulness meditation at the beginning and the extended savasana at the end — both helped melt away the tension from my day. By the end of the session, I felt lighter, centered, and deeply relaxed, as if l'd pressed a reset button for both body and mind.
This class is perfect for anyone seeking calm, stress relief, or a mindful way to reconnect with their body. I'll definitely be coming back 😊

This was our first session with Rachel and it was excellent. We look forward to going more regularly. It was initially gentle, building up to loosening up the whole body. There were options from beginner to more advanced, deeper stretching, along with breathwork. In just this one session it really helped my lower back and hip mobility. Rachel even stayed on with us to coach some extra things to take away and practice, such as great post-climbing specific stretching exercises. A nice mindful thing to do after work.

Ive been practicing yoga since my early 20s, its evolved with me
and recently qualified as a yoga teacher.
I also climb, and its through this that I recognise the impact that yoga has had on my climbing. 

Now, why yoga for climbers? Yoga and climbing complement each other—while climbing focuses on pulling muscles, yoga emphasises pushing, immediately creating balance in the body. Opposing muscle groups
 Yoga also develops flexibility, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination—all essential for climbing. 
Beyond physical benefits, yoga supports the mental aspects needed for climbing, 
Focus, self belief, self love, acceptance when things don’t go as planned. 
It strengthens the mind-body connection.

My goal is to create yoga classes tailored for climbers that develops not only physical skills like flexibility, mobility, and strength, but also enhances mind-body awareness. 
The plan that I have currently envisioned is a BUNCH of monthly program centered on a specific theme.
For example, November will focus on hip openers, while December might emphasize shoulder mobility. 
Every class will still cover core elements like hips, shoulders, spine, and ankles, but with increased attention to the month's theme.
This potential monthly programme is structured so that each class is offered twice per week, with both sessions in that week covering the same material. Each subsequent week, the content will progress—from foundational techniques to more advanced postures or sequences—tailored to your individual ability. 
I intend classes to maintain a yoga structure rather than resembling a fitness workouts. asanas, pranayama - breath work, and some meditation.

Hi, I’m Rachel — a yoga instructor and passionate climber. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and climbing has been a big part of my life for most of that time. It was through climbing that I truly discovered the depth of yoga’s benefits. Beyond strength and flexibility, yoga gave me focus, resilience, and balance — qualities that became just as important on the wall as they are on the mat.

I now share yoga with others, especially climbers who want to move with more ease, prevent injury, and cultivate the mental clarity that supports their climbing. At the same time, my classes aren’t only for climbers — I also teach Vinyasa Krama Yoga, a mindful, progressive approach to practice that welcomes all levels and bodies.

Whether you come from the climbing community or are simply looking to deepen your yoga journey, I’d love to help you explore how yoga can support both your body and your mind.
